Lovers in The Dark
I don’t mind being second place in your eyes/
To be honest your rarely ever on my mind/
I lay with you to fill this void/
Only building a monster within me; as I no longer believe in a “he” voice/
I place a smile on my face to play this role/
While in my heart there’s a deep dark hole/
Can’t help to wonder if could stoop any lower
Then I recover making my way...
